Is it August already? Wow how time flies when you’re having fun! Right. I’ve been waiting for a few days to get my video recorded before sharing this project. I’ve been really happy with the outcome. This is my second time taking part in the KB Pattern Swap. The KBPattern Swap was started and still is hosted by Sian of Kitten Behavior.
I was paired with the lovely Megan Sullivan, aka @married.with.dogs for this awesome collaboration. Basically you are randomly selected with a partner to swap patterns with. Your pattern stalks your IG feed and decides on a pattern they believe suits you.
It is really amazing how one can learn qualities, likes, & dislikes of another just by their IG feed. Megan did a fantastic job by choosing this pattern. She knew that I wanted to begin making more separates and sent the perfect pattern for me to start with.
Simplicity 8609 – Is an easy sew, no zipper wrap skirt. I don’t think it gets any easier than this one my friends. Four panels, a waistband and buttonhole.
This fabulous skirt works for any occasion day or night! It’s ideal for both experienced and beginner sewers.
