McCalls M6567 ~ Video Pattern Review

Passionate Coral Hi/Lo Combo M6567

The Hi/Lo style has been on the scene for a while and I’ve been wanting to try it. I felt the recent trip to a tropical island would be the perfect paring for a lighthearted piece. This truly was a 1 hour skirt and great for beginners.

Pattern Description: Very loose-fitting skirt, with elasticized waist and narrow hem. Featuring variations in hemline shapes and wrong side show on ruffle, another variation is a mock wrap with elasticized waistband.

Pattern Sizing:  This pattern comes in XS -XXL

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The general design of this particular skirt. I made it because I love the hi/lo effect.

Fabric Used:  The hand of this fabric feels like cotton voile

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes. Because this was super easy and took little to no time to complete. It’s fantastic project for any occasion.

Conclusion:  This is another winner, one that works great for daytime or evening. I am such a big fan of pieces that can be used for multiple events.
